– I love to paint in black and white and photos with interesting light settings and a lot of shadows. Especially people, but I prefer it when you can not really see their face. So, the picture is more mysterious and general/distanced. This photo was on my painting list for so long and I finally did it.
It was fun, although the hand took me a third of the time, because hands are a struggle in general. The smoke was surprisingly easy to paint.
At the moment, this painting actually is one of my favorites.
