I found a concept artwork named „The Gift“ on Instagram and I couldn´t stop looking at it. It has a calming effect on me and it can tell interesting storys, I think. I loved it so much that I decided to paint it. Fortunately I was advised to paint the warm, bright parts with oil paints which was the first time I used them. What I also really like about the picture is the contrast between background and foreground. This painting is one of my favorites.
